COOKIE USAGE POLICY

1. Navigation Data and Retention

The IT systems and applications dedicated to the operation of this website detect, in the course of their normal operation, certain data (the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols) that are not associated with directly identifiable users.

Among the collected data are IP addresses and domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user's operating system and IT environment.

2. Cookies

The Data Controller's website uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the proper functioning of procedures and improve the user experience of online applications. This document provides detailed information on the use of cookies and similar technologies, how they are used by the Data Controller, and how to manage them. Pursuant to the Italian Data Protection Authority’s ruling of May 8, 2014, regarding 'Identification of simplified procedures for cookie information and consent acquisition,' cookies are small text strings that websites visited by users send to their terminals (typically via browser), where they are stored to be retransmitted to the same sites on subsequent visits. Third-party cookies are set by a website different from the one the user is visiting, as each site may contain elements (images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains, etc.) residing on different servers.

  • Technical Cookies: These are cookies necessary for navigation or to provide a service requested by the user. They are not used for additional purposes and are usually installed directly by the website owner. Without these cookies, some operations could not be performed or would be more complex and/or less secure, making them strictly necessary cookies. They can be divided into navigation cookies or session cookies, which ensure normal browsing and use of the website.

The installation of these cookies does not require prior user consent.

  • Analytics Cookies: They are considered equivalent to technical cookies when used directly by the site owner to collect information, in an aggregated and anonymous form, on the number of users and how they visit the site.

  • Profiling Cookies: These cookies are used to track user navigation across the web and create profiles based on their tastes, habits, and choices. With these cookies, advertising messages can be sent to the user’s terminal in line with preferences already expressed during online browsing.

This site does not use profiling cookies.

  • Third-Party Cookies: These are cookies that do not come from the visited site (i.e., the website owner) but from sites managed by other organizations, so-called third parties. An example of this type of cookie is social plugins for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. These are parts of the visited web page, generated directly by the mentioned sites and integrated into the host site's page.

This site does not use third-party cookies.

2.1. Cookie Duration

Cookies have a duration dictated by their expiration date (or a specific action such as closing the browser) set at the time of installation. Cookies can be:

  • Temporary or session cookies: These are used to store temporary information, allow linking actions performed during a specific session, and are removed from the computer when the browser is closed.

  • Persistent cookies: These are used to store information such as login credentials to avoid re-entering them every time the user visits a specific site. These remain stored on the computer even after closing the browser. The Data Controller does not use persistent cookies.

2.2. Managing Preferences

If the use of cookies is based on consent, the User can provide or withdraw such consent by setting or updating their preferences via the privacy choice panel available on this website.

Regarding third-party cookies, Users can manage their preferences by visiting the relevant opt-out link (if available), using the tools described in the third party’s privacy policy, or by contacting the third party directly:

Other types of data that the Data Controller may collect and process include browsing data. The IT systems and software procedures used for the operation of this website may acquire, during their normal operation, users' personal data whose transmission is implicit in Internet communication protocols. These are pieces of information not collected to be associated with identified individuals but that, by their nature, could allow users to be identified through processing and associations with data held by third parties. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the response file, the numerical code indicating the response status given by the server (success, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user's operating system and IT environment.

2. HOW PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED

The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the site prepared for particular requested services.

3. HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED?

Personal data will be processed electronically and telematically for only as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and, in any case, in such a way as to ensure their security and confidentiality. The Data Controller also processes acquired personal data in full compliance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, and transparency. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.

4. WHO IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA SHARED WITH?

The Data Controller may be required to share personal data with competent authorities or third parties, as provided by law, to fulfill legal obligations or based on specific consent given by the data subject. If applicable, contractual safeguards will be implemented to ensure the protection of your personal data when disclosed to third parties; for example, through data processing agreements with the relevant parties (which impose restrictions on the use of your personal data and obligations regarding their protection and security). Additionally, collected data may be communicated to internal personnel of the Data Controller, as well as to companies, associations, or professional firms providing services and activities on behalf of the Data Controller as Data Processors to fulfill legal obligations and meet organizational and administrative needs necessary to provide the requested services.

5. DATA RETENTION

Your personal data will be retained only for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected, except for a longer period for public interest archiving, scientific or historical research, or statistical purposes. Once your personal data is no longer needed or processing is not permitted for legal or commercial purposes, they will be destroyed or anonymized.

6. RIGHTS

We inform you that, under Articles 15-22 of the Regulation, you have the following rights regarding the processing of your personal data:

  • To be informed, at the time of personal data collection, about the data processing.
  • To access the information processed by the Data Controller and how it is processed, as well as to obtain a copy of the personal data, considering legal limitations and exceptions.
  • To request the immediate deletion of your personal data held by the Data Controller, considering legal limitations and exceptions.

  • To obtain the portability of personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, allowing the right to transfer such data to another data controller without impediments.
  • To object to processing for marketing purposes.
  • To revoke consent at any time and freely regarding the processing of personal data. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

If the data subject wishes to obtain further information on the processing of their personal data or exercise their rights, they may send a written request along with a copy of their ID to LBRA – Training Studio, Via Pallavicino, 29 - 20145 Milan, by calling

+39 02 4770 7537 or by sending an email to [email protected].

7. CONSENT

The data subject has the right and the possibility to revoke their consent given for any specific purpose at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
